Robbo - Lets put the blip behind us

Speaking to the Star, the gaffer wants his side to show the spirit that led them to 7 successive league victories and an unbeaten run since a defeat at Barnet two and a half months ago.

He explained: "We suffered a surprise home defeat in the FA Cup recently and the team bounced straight back from that. From the character I've seen from them, I expect the same again.

"I think this is a blip (the defeat to Rochdale). We'll put the disappointment behind us and look to go again. If we have aspirations to be successful then we have to pick things up quickly, like we did last time.

"The last league defeat had been back in September and that's a fair run. We've now to start afresh and see if we can go on another one. If anything, I think last Saturday will make us more determined. It certainly was part of our learning curve. I keep saying we are a team that will keep improving."
