Speaking to the Star he said: "I'm more bothered about winning football matches than awards but I hope they (the awards) keep coming because then it means we are doing well. We're going to be working hard on the training ground because our next game is one of the biggest of the season.
"The situation we're in now, though, means the one afterwards will then be the biggest and then the one after that.
"Things are coming together nicely and I feel as if the players are starting to show the potential I know they have. The crowd identify with them now as well and that's important.
"It takes a while when you bring in a lot of new faces but you can tell from the atmosphere around the place that it's happening."
If results go favourably in tonight's programme a win tomorrow could see the Millers go top of the League Two table by a point.
