Clarke may have to settle for a place on the bench if Mark Burchill is given a start, with Drewe Broughton a major doubt after having six stitches in a head and ear wound.
Of Burchill, Robo told todays Star: "Mark is in contention, he's been disappointed not to get a regular chance and he's a player capable of nailing down a place but we need to see that form on a consistent basis."
He added: "It's a nice one to have but this is what a squad is for, it's about challenging each other - it's about getting in the team and making it difficult for someone to get their place back."
Meanwhile Stephen Brogan returned back to full training yesterday, in the hope of getting some first team football before the end of the season after already figuring briefly in the reserves.
