Robins was full of praise for the midfield man, who netted just once but generally impressed in 14 games in a Rotherham jersey.
Talking to the Star Robbo said: "It's disappointing but understandable from our point of view. I'd like to thank Blackpool for letting us have him, and I hope we'll see him again at some point."
The gaffer was also delighted to have Mark Hudson back against Morecambe as he came on for his league debut following a lengthy injury lay off: "Mark came back and did very well. He's been a big miss for us, and it's good to have him back", he added.
Robins and his assistant John Breckin are also still waiting on Chris O'Grady's condition ahead of Saturday's game at Dagenham.
The striker who's netted three times this season came off with a deep head wound and was taken to hospital. "It's a wait-and-see situation" said Robbo. "We'll have to make sure the injury settles down. It's healing pretty quickly. Hopefully he'll be ok for Saturday."
