Speaking in the press, Scott said of Griffiths: “He's won promotion at Dagenham and Chesterfield and everyone I have spoken to about him is complimentary about the way he plays and the way he is as a lad.
"He's a very intelligent boy and understands the game. He can fill the role that Jon Harley filled and we can carry on in the same vein defensively without changing too much around. He's still a young lad and with his career looking like it's not going to happen at Peterborough, we may be able to do something with him for next season.”
On Sam Wood's return, Scott explained: “We offered him a permanent deal but financially with the way things are at Brentford, it just didn't work out for him. This is the best deal for all parties because he can get playing for the rest of the season and in the summer he can look at his options. If there's something we can do then great.”
