Scott, who was appointed as Millers manager in April, has not brought anyone in, instead choosing to work with the existing staff of Andy Liddell, Nicky Eaden, Paul Warne and Andy Dibble.
And he will sit down with them all next week to see how they can help move the club forward.
"I'll be speaking to the staff next week about their roles and what they do and what I think for next year and how things can change and how things can be done differently," Scott said.
"This has been a good opportunity for me to see what they do and hopefully when pre-season comes everyone knows what they are doing and their role in the set-up so we can work seamlessly."
