The Millers face two home games against Devon rivals Plymouth and Torquay in the next five days and need to pick up six points to push them closer to their play-off aim.
And Scott wants to see his men fighting for every ball, speaking to the Star today.
“The shirt yours and if someone is trying to take that shirt off you then it’s like someone trying to break into your home and taking your money and your jewellery,” said Scott.
“That shirt is what you work for, it’s your livelihood, your means of improving your careers, earning a better contract, win bonuses, success, medals.
“They should be fighting tooth and nail to not let anyone take that shirt off them and that’s what it’s about. The response from them midweek was good and they are an honest group who don’t take things to heart and try to help each other."
