Speaking to the clubs official website, Scott was full of praise for the outgoing duo.
"I have spoken to Lidds today and he understands the situation,He was fantastic for me last year and the transition for me coming in was seamless because of the work of Lidds and Warney." Scott said.
"I would like to thank him for his efforts for the club and I know the Chairman and Paul Douglas were delighted with his work, it is just an unfortunate fact of life that when a new manager comes in they want to bring their own people, and financially and logistically it doesn't work to keep everybody."
Lidd's joins Nicky Eaden and Graham Brown who have both left the club, Brown resigned last week to take up a scouting role at Notts County.
