The Millers take on the Robins, who are fancied to do well themselves, in the early kick off in League Two but they go into the live Sky clash on the back of four straight league defeats.
Scotty said to the Tiser: "We've scored 13 goals this season and created more chances and hopefully with Alex (Revell) and Brett (Williams)' presence we'll be able to create even more. Defensively, we want to work on being strong and keeping clean sheets because that gives you a better chance of winning games.
Scott saw Paolo Di Canio's side's defeat to Southampton in the Carling Cup in midweek which involved a bust up with Leon Clarke, who has been told to find another club just wweeks after signing at the County Ground.
But Scott remained wary despite his side being top of the table and undefeated, adding: "They have a big budget and a big squad. They've brought a lot of players in and they were one of the fancied teams and that should still be the case.
"I want to enjoy watching us play like we did last week. It was a joy to watch and while I'd like to put on a performance like that in front of the cameras, it may be that we need to dog out a result. We've the ability to do that as well."
