Speaking to radio Sheffield, the 24 year old told, "I knew Preston had a bid turned down last week, then there were rumours that I'd be off and Ronnie told me that the Chairman had changed his mind and accepted the bid and would I see him on Monday."
I was'nt looking for a move away from Rotherham, I was very happy there! I'd just signed a new contract there and bought a house in the area last year so obviously I was'nt looking to get away!."
"It's a massive wrench going, in an ideal world I would have stayed but everythings not forever, I've a lot of friends there but its an opportunity to be a springboard for me. The way the club is going at the minute the future does'nt look too bright, the Manager isnt being given the tools to do his job."
"I've had some special memories at Rotherham, getting promoted on my 21st birthday to the first division, the away win at Hartlepool to promote us to the second."
All the best Sedgy!!!
Meanwhile onloan striker Junior has extended his loan for another 2 months, and will now be available until the Millwall game on January the 3rd.
Finally the Reserves did a Forest and let a 2 goal lead disapear and had to settle for a 2-2 draw against Bradford. Paul Warne scoring both goals for the Millers.
