Dave McAllister and Connor Goldson have been passed fit for struggling Shrewsbury's home clash against Rotherham while Aaron Wildig also hopes to be okay.
Defender Goldson was forced off late on in last weekend's 3-2 defeat at MK Dons having suffered a broken nose while McAllister also sustained mild concussion.
Fellow midfielder Wildig, meanwhile, was substituted at half-time at stadium:mk having picked up a thigh injury and will be assessed ahead of the Millers visit. However Luke Summerfield (thigh), Darren Jones (ankle) and Jermaine Grandison (hip) continue to sit out.
Forward Tom Eaves will face his former employers after spending time on loan at the New York Stadium earlier this season.
Rotherham could hand a debut to striker Wes Thomas who was signed from Bournemouth this week, and Blair Turgott, a signing on loan from West Ham on Friday, could also be in line to play a part.
Tom Hitchcock, another loanee who made his debut last weekend in the win over Crewe as a substitute, could replace Haris Vuckic and partner Alex Revell in attack.
Miles Addison has a bruised foot but will play a full part, but fellow defenders Craig Morgan (broken bone) and Claude Davis (suspension) will not be involved.
Evans has no other selection issues to contend with as his side look to consolidate their position in the top six.
