After a much improved performance in the JPT against Sheffield United Revell is hoping the team can repeat their form in the league and find a spell of consistency to climb back into the top three.
He told the Advertiser: “The most important thing is to take it into Saturday now; not just let it lie because we were playing a League One team in a derby match on a nice pitch. We need to show we can do it consistently because that's what gets you promoted.
“I don't know about Burton but you might not see a lot of the ball on the floor. Sometimes against difficult teams we might have to be a bit more direct and at times that long ball isn't a bad ball, but sometimes you can get sucked into the way other people play.
“We've just got to knuckle down now. We're at home and we've got to dictate. We were terrific the other night. I thought we passed a League One team off the pitch and that goes to prove what we can do against higher opposition if we get out of this league. We had some really good performances. More of that tomorrow and we can get back to winning ways.”
Revell netted his third goal for the club on Tuesday but his first for a month since his Millers debut at Swindon, and added;. “I've been happy with the way I've been playing but you need the goals as a centre-forward and it was nice it fell to me on Tuesday.
“I've only been here a month now and I've been playing near enough all the time. It's been different for me. I was playing at Leyton Orient but only for an hour. You need time on the pitch. I've been getting better and of course there's always more to come.”
