It also emerged that RUFC are also still paying Campbell-Ryce's wages - rumoured to be around the £2500 a week mark, whic the club will be fighting to recover in a hearing next week. Ruchniewicz said on the subject, "We won't give up as we have a substantive case and they have shown cynical commercial bullying and we won't have that. There is a hearing next Wednesday and we are trying to get the matter resolved by the end of February."
On the new stand, Ruchniewicz confirmed that work was still continuing on it after a series of meetings with the Football Foundation and constructors Halls, although at the moment the banqueting and conferencing suites would have to be sacrificed. All that would be built would be the fans essentials such as seats and concourse refreshments etc.
There is enough money in the pot for a further 3 weeks worth of work from Halls.
The Millers financial bod Jeff Berry also took the stage and gave details on the figures, he told "We have just held a meeting with Rotherham Partnership and hopefully that will lead to businesses helping us out. We are working on a business plan for next season based on the new stand facilities."
