"Stephen's a great little character to have around the club and he's a great talent. All 22 players are affected by what has happened to him, We have a strong bond at this club and when one of us is going through a bad time, we all go through a bad time. Coughlan told the 'Tiser
"I'm sure that Stephen will be mentioned in every team talk between now and the end of the season and we'll be thinking about him every time we step out on that pitch. What has happened makes us that little bit determined to do well, so that next May we can hand him the promotion medal he deserves for all his hard work. He's been a big player for us."
Cocko went on to look at other players who have made comebacks from similar injuries; "I know from long experience that a fracture doesn't mean the end, One of my all-time favourite players, Henrik Larsson, returned from a broken leg and scored a shedload of goals the following season." he said.
"It can be lonely working in the gym but that's the place you can build up a real desire to get back. He'll feel down, we all are, but he'll be on with his rehabilitation in no time. Time is a great healer and the hope is that he returns stronger from the experience."
"Each and every one of us is willing him back and you saw how we responded at MK Dons after his injury by fighting back to equalise. We want to dedicate the point we got there to him and fight through this tough spell and make sure we reward Stephen, the fans and everyone connected with the club with success."
