Speaking to the clubs official website, Stewart spoke about the promising times ahead and his hope to start 2011 with three crucial promotion points.
The Chairman said: "It has been a very frustrating time again through the recent adverse weather conditions and I am delighted we will be able to blow the cobwebs off on New Year's Day with a mouth watering clash with Port Vale at Don Valley.
"We are in the pack again over the Christmas period for the hunt for one of the automatic promotion places and what a fantastic game this promises to be as a curtain raiser for 2011.
"Our last game was back on December 11th versus Aldershot when we played some great football, particularly in the second half, and we were unfortunate to win that game by just the one goal.
"2011 brings a New Year and there is so much to look forward to", he added.
"The new stadium development is very much on the horizon, the light at the end of the tunnel is getting so close now and we're very excited to able to share what we have seen with everyone, please be assured that will be at the earliest possible opportunity.
"On the pitch we remain resilient, focused and determined to climb the leagues and the infrastructure within the Club continues to be developed to enable us to do just that and to be able to compete at a higher level when we get there.
"Thanks for all of your tremendous support during 2010; our Club is on a great journey. Please, join us at Don Valley on Saturday and let's start 2011 like we intend to finish it - with togetherness and success."
