Taylor was sent out on loan to Rochdale with a year remaining on his contract but was recalled by then gaffer Moore last season.
Now under Andy Scott's regime, Jaybo has already had a promising start to the new campaign having made the opening weekend's team of the week.
However, the 24 year-old is often criticised along with team mate Danny Harrison in a key part of the Millers team, the central midfield area, but Taylor says the ups and downs are expected.
Looking back to last season, he said to the Tiser: "I'd done well at Rochdale helping them to the verge of promotion and Ronnie Moore obviously took it on board and thought I'd got something to offer.
"Nobody holds grudges in this league and so when a second chance came along, I welcomed it with open arms. This game is all about twists and turns and you don`t know what`s going to happen. I thought I had a really good season last year and I hope we can have a good season this year and I can stay in the team."
Talking about the coming season, he added: "League Two is getting stronger and stronger and every team can beat each other. The ones who have come down are better and the ones who have come up have spent as well.
"I think the teams that are organised, don't concede many goals and have got a good strike force are going to be up there and I think we can be one of them."
