Despite geting some of the blame from fans on the messageboards, Denis puts that down to a vocal few and takes heart in the support he has recieved from others.
"I walked into the Rotherham United Suite on the day of the Bradford game and I was expecting one or two people to come up and have a go at me. I have broad shoulders and I can handle that but it was completely the opposite." he added.
"I had people coming up and offering me the support and buying me drinks and I've had the same positive reaction when I've been out and about. In the supermarket, at the petrol station or just walking around, the comments from people the die-hard fans and even from people who never go to matches have been really nice."
"The other directors have had the same sort of response and I'd also like to say thanks on their behalf as well." he added.
