The fans are brilliant - Law

Millers midfielder Nicky Law spoke to the Tiser this week about the influence a crowd can have on a game, Nicky said:

"Obviously, you're drawn to Bradford because of the big stadium and the big crowds but that's not always a good thing when you're playing at home. The crowd can turn on you if things aren't going well.

"The fans here are just as brilliant. There's 3,000 or 4,000 every week but you'd think there's as many as there is at Bradford. They're excellent supporters. When you're considering a transfer, you go to the club you think will progress more and not because of fans and things like that, so coming here was an easy decision for me really."

Nicky is happy to play the wide man, a roll that is not new to him, he explained: "When I was younger I was predominantly a central player, last year at Bradford I was moved out to the wing a few times and I'm obviously playing wide at the minute here as well. What the gaffer wants from me is to take players on and get balls into the box.

"Whether that's on the left or right, I'm happy to do that and I'll always give 100 per cent. "I don't have a preference as long I'm enjoying my football, which I am at the minute, and we're winning. "I knew, speaking to the manager here during the summer, Rotherham

were looking to have a go this year. We've started really well."
