Speaking to todays Star, the 30 year old midfielder who joined the Millers just over a week ago was full of praise for the job done by groundsman Dave Fellowes.
“I never played in the Premier League but that surface is Premier League standard for sure, It’s a beautiful stadium but the pitch is a really important thing and this is a beautiful pitch, It really is a nice surface, like a bowling green and I don’t think you could get much better. It’s just what we need for how we pass the ball.
"If you can’t play on that, certainly you can’t blame a divot. I’ve played on some nice pitches in my career but that’s right up there with any I’ve been on.”
Noble went on to speak about joining the Millers; “It’s a club with ambition - you only have to look round at the stadium, the pitch, the training facilities and the quality of player coming in. Reasons why I came.
“We’re all still getting to know each other and Saturday was our first proper game, so things will take time but to look good straight away is a positive. It was a good day, good turnout, great noise from the supporters.”
