The players are focused despite worries.

Talking in todays Rotherham Star, boss Alan Knill praises the way the lads have kept thier focus on the football in the face of possible closure, in a bid to retain the clubs League 1 status.

Knill said, "It is understandable that everybody is talking about the situation and what is needed to get out of it, But the players have been absolutely superb in recent weeks and they are really calm about it now."

"Perhaps, recently, all that has gone off outside of football, has proved a distraction but not in a bad way. They have come in with more determination to focus on matters on the field and they have done that. They have all been pulled together by the problems there have been here but there has been this calmness about them."

"I've been impressed by their determination to get on with get results and ensuring they win their fight against relegation." he added

Meanwhile Skipper Colin Murdock has backed-up Knills view, and insists that the financial position isnt affecting the lads.

"Obviously a lot has been said in the press publicly about the company going into a voluntary arrangement but that's really beyond the players' control at this particular minute in time, Our focus of concentration is really on trying to get the points on the board that are required to maintain our status in the league this season." Murdock told Radio Sheffield.
