After changing the game when coming on as a second half substitute Alex Rhodes could be inline for a recall; "Maybe Alex Rhodes has played his way back into the side, He didn't do anything to deserve getting left out, although I thought he was quiet in the previous two games. He came on against Rochdale and changed it for us again."
"I was disappointed in the lack of guile in that match. I have good players here and in training they show it. "I just don't think we have the right balance with the front three. I ask them to do a specific job and if one of them doesn't do it then there's problems."
"I was looking for us to use the extra man and play instead of smashing it up front, I don't see anything wrong in turning the opposition but when they drop deep you can't just smash it up there and hope something drops for you. You have to try and work an opportunity and play the right way."
"On the overall balance of play we had a lot of chances which, if we had stuck away, we'd have won 7-3 or 7-4. We wanted to get goals and get players up in support of the main striker but it didn't work it. There was plenty of food for thought."
"It was disappointing to only take a point at home but Rochdale are a strong side and they got to the play-off final last year. They've lost one or two players but have replaced them with decent ones and they're difficult to play against. They're a good footballing team and they hit you on the break and have a bright management team."
"We did well to come back from two goals down and we're still unbeaten at Don Valley Stadium." he added
