“The way we played down there was excellent and if we can reproduce that it is going to give us more confidence and hopefully kick us on for the rest of the season, I’ve always maintained we have a very good squad here which should be top six, even top three." Alex told the Star.
“If we believe in ourselves, play like that, then we are going to win more than we lose. There was a togetherness about us and I hope we can take this performance into this next game. In fact, we need to do so.”
The Millers had gone into Fridays game on the back of three straight defeats; “When you do that it’s sometimes hard to see any light. You start thinking ‘Is it going to be? All of a sudden we were realising that we needed to start winning - and winning now. There was pressure on us to start winning. But one win can change the whole concept of a season although the thing now is to carry it on into our home form.”
