23 Year old Williams joins the Millers until January after ALF's move to the Madejski saw him drop down the pecking orer a litte.
Willaims scored a goal every other game during his time in non-league which saw the Royals for £50,000, having yet to make a league appearance his displays in the reserves have been good, however Millers boss Andy Scott is ready to give him a chance.
“Brett has already shown in training that he is very sharp, He moves well, he's an athlete, he's quick, he's a good size, over 6ft and he can finish. All he's lacking is league experience." Scott told todays Advertiser.
“He may be one of those who comes in and sets the world on fire straight away but there's no pressure on him, he's only young still but hopefully he can gain some experience with us and prove to be a real hit and go back to Reading and prove his worth." he added.
