Moore has been lookiing to sign a striker to bolster the Millers strikeforce with Tom Pope and Ryan Taylor sitting out the start of the season thruogh injury.
MillersMAD understood that Ronnie was looking to signing his 33 year old son, and the deal was expected to go through today, but Tranmere have rejected the Millers bid for Ian who has a year to run on his contract at Prenton Park, however, with the Tranmere board rejecting the bid, Ian has reportedly handed in a written transfer request.
