Moore told todays Advtertiser: "On the Thursday (last week before the Cheltenham game) he wasn't playing so I had a little word in his ear and asked him to play at three-quarter pace and give us 60 minutes. I told him 'What you do in that time might win the game for us.'
"So he came in Friday and trained and got through the game. Hopefully he's learning that if you want to be injury free when you play, you'll never play.
"Everybody carries a knock or a sore ankle or a sore knee. If you don't want to play when you're like that then you're not going to clock up many miles at this game."
Moore added: "Tom has got a bit of pace and he's 6ft but I'd just like to see him take a few more shots and I think he can learn from Alfie in that. He never passes!
"Tom just has to get a hunger to score goals and once he gets a taste for it then we will have a decent player there."
