After being unveiled as the Millers new commercial manager this week, Tony Styles is adament that the revolving door on the job is now at a halt by telling the 'Tiser; "I'm here for the long run."

Since Dave Nicholls left the club the commercial dept has become dormant all bar bums on the managers chair! Damon Shaw, Bob Gorrill and Dan Millard have all come and gone without creating a stir.

Talking to the 'Tiser, Tony laid his plans down; "I intend to be around for a long time and want to build to the foundations for a lasting and successful stay here. I have supported Rotherham United for 30 years. I'm local, I have a passion for the club, and I'm 100 per cent committed to making this thing work and helping drive the Millers forward."

"I want to get back to the days when the commercial manager of Rotherham United was known by a lot of people in the town."

"I'm coming into this with my eyes open, It's not the easiest job by any stretch of the imagination and it is going to take time to get the commercial set-up where we want it to be. I've got the sales skills but I've also got the analytical skills to reassess and reevaluate how we're working on a week-by-week basis."

"My aim is to improve and increase the links between the local businesses we already deal with and expand our client base. I'll be getting out and about a lot more and really selling the club, including really getting to grips with increasing the use of the Rotherham United Suite."

"There's so many areas for improvement but the first job has to be to fill the spaces in our regular match-day sponsorships. Then we can start looking at the bigger picture."

"I'm looking forward to building a stronger working relationship between the club and business in Rotherham and the surrounding area."

We wish Tony the very best of luck!! By god he'll need it.. If your intrested in advertising and sponsorship opportunities with the Millers, then give Tony a ring on 01709 512760.
