Speaking in the Yorkshire Post, Tony said: "We are on the crest of an area final and are just three games from Wembley. The fans want it and it's there to be had.
"If we'd won (on Saturday in the FA Cup) we would have been drawn to play Leeds at home, which would have been a fantastic derby. I'm hoping tonights game will provide some compensation. Saturday was disappointing but I thought Rochdale deserved what they got.
'Wembley is a big place and occasion and we want another piece of that and are desperate to do something this year."
He added: "I am quite surprised we haven't been on TV yet and I feel we have been a little bit let down on that front. But I am sure with a bit of patience and if we perform to a level we can do that we won't be unrecognised."
