Crawley have tabled two bids for the 15 goal man and other clubs have shown rumoured interest in recent weeks.
And Scott said to the Tiser today: "There is no doubt the speculation has affected Lewis a little bit and that's understandable. Players feel a bit of a pressure if other clubs are looking at them but the sooner the window shuts and we can get on with it, the better.
"There has been no more conversations with other clubs about him and hopefully that's the way it stays."
Ahead of the game at lowly Dagenham Scott added: "Anyone who doesn't play tomorrow can have no complaints. We weren't good enough on Saturday and we need players that are going to get a result at Dagenham to get us back involved in the play-off shake-up."
