Douglas told Dee Dar the groundsman became concerned about 2pm, and that as quick as work was being done to clear surface water just as much was falling. Ref Trevor Kettle called the game off after a second inspection.
Douglas went to add the game may well have been on had the club been at Millmoor, but of course that's all hear say and the problems at DVS will continue if the club cannot gain permanent access to pitch maintenance.
The re-arranged date for the game is now Tuesday 21st April, 7.45pm as Rotherham still have eight games to pack into the month of March.
