Vernazza faces Barnet trial.

The former Arsenal midfielder has had a tough time since he joined the Millers from Watford in July 2004, and has recieved stick from many fans.

Vernazza who turned 26 today is having trials at League 2 side Barnet with a view to a move after only making one appearance as sub for the Millers this season after failing to budge Michael Keane, Lee Williamson and John Mullin.

Vernazza made just 31 appearances with 15 of those coming off the bench and failed to score, apart from a cracking own goal at Gillingham last season.
