Speaking to the clubs official website after the game, Warne admitted that injuries have taken toll on the Millers ahead of the start of the season.
"It has been a difficult pre-season but I think it has for a lot of teams. Recruitment has been really tough this time. We've lost a lot of players and at this moment in time we haven't signed a lot."
"We've tried to play a system that gets our best players in the team and one that gets us two up front. At the moment, a 3-5-2 has been working really well.
"Ironically, we've reduced training a little bit in pre-season and we haven't been as brutal with them. We don't want injuries but unfortunately, we've still got them."
"We sit down with the lads on Monday and we should have at least two new faces in the building which will be great.
"We'll sit down and have a chat about what we want to try and achieve this year and up to this week, I don't think we've had that opportunity."
