Speaking to the clubs official website, Warney is adament that the Millers are due their first away win of the season.
“I'm hopeful that this game away this weekend will see the lads go at it and have a real belief and come away with the points that hopefully we deserve, We're not far away and I'm not trying to blind people with fibs but we're not. I just beg people to get behind the lads and show them your support because it does make a massive difference."
“I think regrettably, we haven't played brilliantly away from home but we have been good in periods of the game. Whenever we make a mistake we get punished unfortunately. It's not my job to just berate them to a pulp. I've got to tell them as it is, but I've also got to try and pick them up.”
“I said to the lads the other night that they need to score when they're on top, You need that goal and I think if we'd have got that at Forest the other night the fans were beginning to turn a little bit."
“The games that we've won are the games in which we've scored first. You can criticise as much as you like but psychology is massive in professional sport and in most games, especially under our tutelage, we've been really good in first halves.”
As usual, Warney thanked the fan's supportl “I appreciate the people who went to Forest and clapped the team off and I appreciate the fans are hurting that we're losing but we're trying to be a positive bunch,” Warne added. The club is in good shape, but unfortunately at the moment we're not getting the points that our play deserves."
