A late goal from Clark Robertson sent the Millers home with all 3 points, with boss Paul Warne saying; "We were unplayable at times in the first half, But I wasn't happy with the second half. We have a lot to work on."
Freddie Ladapo gave the Millers a half time lead, which should have been bigger according to Warne; "I think we should have gone in at the break with a bigger lead, Wimbledon caused us all sorts of problems at the start of the second half.
"It was disappointing conceding from a set-piece. The impetus went towards them. But we still had enough chances to win.
“I’m happy with the victory but there is more to come. I’m asking a lot from the lads physically and I’m happy with the bench. I thought the subs had a good positive impact, Wilesy especially.
“They just give us that bit of energy on a hot day on the opening day of the season when everyone was fatiguing."
