He saw his team pull off a hard fought 1-0 and extend their lead at the top of the League One table.
"It was a good away performance and we kept another clean sheet. I think we've only conceded five away from home. From the outset and the first kick off, we were trying to win the game, we're trying to go after them - draws aren't any good to us. We're trying to grab every game by the throat and I thought we did really."
"We created enough chances to win and I think we deserved it."
"Mark (Robinson) has got the team really well-organised. They're good on set pieces and they defended them really well. That was my big fear. Every time we had a set piece the 'keeper came for it and they attacked at pace and that was the way I thought that they were going to score.
"Obviously I'm over the moon for JJ to score and for Angus to play. I’m over the moon for JJ he’s got his first big boy goal. There’s no better feeling as a striker, to get the winner in a 1-0 win," said Warne.
JJ came on after an injury to Will Grigg who came off with a hamstring injury, “It’s very difficult to get in this team, it takes a lot of hard work, but he’s come on and got his goal.
“He’s a goal threat, and although we spend a lot of time shouting at him he is improving. He’s a very popular figure in the dressing room and we’re happy for him."
