The 30 year old striker has recently been on loan to near neighbours Mansfield and was recalled back to us for the FA Cup defeat against Yeovil.
| Off to Mansfield - but surely he's not flying there!? |

However speaking after the game against his former club Wigan yesterday, Warney told "I think I'll be leaving the club next week and going to play in league 2, so today was a bit like a swansong for me, I was just told to go out there and enjoy myself. "
"Over the last couple of season's after 65 minutes it was normally my number that went up unfortunately, and rightfully so most of the time. I have no complaints on what the gaffer does. So it was nice to play 90 minutes and I feel as fit as a fiddle"
Warney was unable to tell Radio Sheffield where he was going, but the money's on Mansfield having been there on loan, but boss Ronnie Moore told that there was a few clubs intrested."
On speaking about the Millers future Warney said "This season has been such a poor season in terms of results, it gets to the stage where you just want to draw a line underneath it and start again. It looks like we're going down, maybe next year if we can win a few games at the start and get the spirit back in the club that we've had in the previous seasons and get back up, thats what I'd like anyway."
Warney made 185 appearances for the Millers, scoring 29 goals for the club.
MillersMad would like to thank Warney for the 100% effort he has always put in while wearing the shirt and wish him all the best for the future should he leave.
