Speaking to the Advertiser today, Adams said: “Wolves will be at home and their fans will expect to win. When I went there with Crawley, they expected to beat us but we gave a good account of ourselves and they nicked it with a penalty in the last minute. “I think if you go and are brave on the ball and execute your game plan, you have a good chance."
“We tend to raise our games against the better teams such as the Brentfords and the Peterboroughs. If they have a go at us, it suits us because the game is more open."
“Molineux is a great place to play. There will be 20,000 plus there and our fans will go in their numbers. It's going to be tough but these are the games and the teams we're aiming to be playing next year.”
Despite the Millers automatic promotion chances are now slipping away, Adams wants to head into the play-offs in good form; “We had a sniff of catching second place but the games are running out and it's probably not to be, even though we'll try and win all our remaining games and hope Brentford slip up."
“The end of the season is going to be good, these are exciting times. When we've played the teams around us, we've more than matched them and I think on our day we can beat anyone. You don't want to be going into the play-offs losing, so the gaffer will drill into us the need to keep the victories coming and hopefully we'll get the job done in the play-offs.”
