Despite losing our form and dropping to 11th in League 2 the 28 year old local lad is confident we can play ourselves back into form.
“We have got the talent to challenge. If you look at our first seven to eight matches of the season, we were in the top three so there is no reason why we can’t get back up there. It is all about stringing three to four results together. If we can get two to three wins on the bounce, we can suddenly move up four or five places."
“It is an open division and I don’t think anyone stands out this year. Crawley and AFC Wimbledon have come up and done well but I don’t think anyone is going to run away with it. Consistency is the main thing at this level. The teams who are organised, disciplined and string the results together tend to do well.” he said
The Millers defence have been shipping goals in at an alarming rate and gaffer Andy Scott has been quick to criticise; “We are working very hard in training to put it right. It has not been easy because we have not had a settled back four. Saying that, it is not just the back four; it is the team. There were some individual errors we made at Port Vale and against Sheffield United but these things happen."
"No one means to make a mistake but we have to try and cut them out. I am very confident with the squad that we have got that we can turn the corner quickly.”
