“I thought we started the game really well and were good in the first 20 minutes. We got a two goal lead and after that, I think they came back into the game a little."
“I was really impressed with Scunthorpe. We did our due diligence on them and we were not expecting an ‘easy game’, anything but. I’m really pleased that we won, three of our strikers scored and Haks scored his first goal, so there were some real positives. We’re pleased to win.
"I do think we took our foot off the gas, In the famous words of John Breckin, you can't turn it on and off. You have to have it all on or you're in trouble. We performed a bit below the standards we've set ourselves in the second half.
"We got two late goals and that probably flattered us. We created the best chances of the game but I always want more. We did enough to win.
"Football is about winning. The strikers all scored and Haks got a goal. They were the positive things."
