Speaking after the 1-0 reverse at home, the gaffer gave his thoughts on the defeat.
Speaking to themillers.co.uk he said; “I’d like to thank the fans, I think they stayed with the team today. In the first half, we were okay and I thought if we got the first goal, we’d go on to win it.
“We conceded the first goal and – it’s happened a few times at home – we looked really disjointed. We didn’t play well enough after that to get something out of the game.
“Realistically, we didn’t work the keeper enough. We’ll go in tomorrow and watch the game together.
“We weren’t at our best. I’m not sure if we deserved to lose, but I don’t think we deserved to win, if I’m honest.
“For the first 50 minutes, we played well and looked the better team, however when they scored, we were all over the place. We just need to help the players have a little bit more confidence and we need to believe the chances would come.
“It didn’t feel like we were going to score today and that isn’t like us.”
