We had no choice but to sell - Coleman

News broke yesterday evening that a deal had been agreed with Watford which could see the Millers pocket over £1m for the pair, news which sent the MillersMAD messageboards crazy, with most Millers fans pleased with the deal and the amount, for a change.
Speaking to Radio Sheffield this afternoon, Denis said; "We didnt have a choice. Lee Williamson would'nt sign a contract and would leave the club at the end of the season for nothing. Will Hoskins, he's been offered a deal and refused to sign it. What goods any players that don't want to be at Rotherham to us??"
"We've got 100% faith in Alan Knill, you've seen the players he's brought into the club in the close season on a very limited budget, we'll support him all we can and we've got 100% faith in him that he can do it again, and we have some cracking young lads coming in as well." Coleman added.
Meanwhile, Coleman took a swipe at Hoskins and his agent Imre Varadi in this mornings Rotherham Advertiser.
"Will has asked that I talk to him through his agent, but that's ridiculous, The agent should only become involved if the player needs advice on a contract offer. Will doesn't need advice on the simple matter of whether he wants to stay or go and he should come clean and tell me one way or the other."
"We pay his wages, we pay his medical bills and we pay his insurance - not the agent. It's matter between the club and the player. We have bent over backwards for Will, If a player treats the club like that then he is better off somewhere else." Denis said.
