Scott told the Tiser today: “As a unit, we look a lot more solid.
"We've done a lot of work on it and it's coming to fruition. Richard Naylor has a lot of experience and is a very wise head in there but all the defenders have been working hard in training; people like Ryan Cresswell, Mark Bradley, Dale Tonge, Scott Griffiths and Michael Raynes.
“We've worked hard as a back four but it's not just about us, it's about the central midfielders and with the two lads up front (Shaun Harrad and Alex Revell) working so hard, it gives us a platform to build off and squeeze up behind them.”
