With 6 games of the season left, the Millers find themselves 4 points off the automatic promotions places, albeit with a game in hand on 3rd place. However with just 5 points between the 5 teams battling for the 3rd place, its squeeky bum time.
“We’re four points off and we have a game in hand - don’t panic, keep calm,” Evans told the South Yorkshire Times.
“Losing on Monday was a blow, particularly when we deserved something. But we’ll pick ourselves up, it’s our job to do that and the experienced lads will play their part too in that. The focus is fully on Morecambe away on Saturday.”
“As I have said many times now we will focus on one match at a time,” Evans said.
“I really do believe that the promotion race is going to go to the wire. We are very much part of the promotion race, but it is now that we must produce the results that make the difference.
“The fight is tough, and believe me, no one will give us anything for nothing.”
“The Millers fans deserve success after the fantastic support they have given us all season.”
