Taylor spoke to the clubs official website and said; “There were some good performances, as much as we’re feeling negative right now. I thought Cameron Humphreys and Woody performed well and Conor led the line well on his own.
“In the first half we had something to believe in and something to hold onto in terms of the clean sheet and then the equaliser in the second half.
“Unfortunately when we conceded the second goal, we were chasing the game and we couldn’t cover the spaces against a good team.
“You can’t take away the last 25 minutes but In terms of how we set-up, I can’t fault the intent of the team.
“They were in the right place, thinking the right things and putting their bodies in the place where we wanted them to be.
“Unfortunately, we came out second best and that was again a reflection of individual mistakes. When we’ve got a fully fit squad, we can be more flexible with what we’ve got, but unfortunately, we haven’t got that at the moment.
“I would love us to be a little more direct, but – no disrespect to Conor – we haven’t got a physical output at the top of the pitch as our focal point.”
