Speaking in the Star over the weekend, Raynor admitted that the gaffers six game absence has been a strain.
“I’ll be glad when we can get things back to normal as I know what a good motivator he is. He whips them up," said Raynor.
“I’ve stepped into the breach and I try and galvanise them but my strength isn’t motivating as such, but filling in the gaps tactically and coaching.
“Steve’s the man and when the leader isn’t there it’s never easy. We work together, bounce things off each other and it will be good having him back."
