Newell say's the fat ladies not singing yet, and he's right but shes started to warble. But given theres 5 months of the season to go, the players need to keep their heads up if they are going to stand a chance to beat the drop.
"We are professionals and that's what we're paid to do, It's a long season and if we win and others lose then the gap comes down. There's five months to go which is a long time and things can change. All it takes is a three game unbeaten run and the mood changes." he told the Advertiser.
"We've a massive game tomorrow, a Yorkshire derby against Leeds. And we've got to be up for it. We can't go down with a whimper. We've got to keep going. The lads all think that there have been good signs since the Gaffer came in and we all know our roles."
