"But we did drop two points. Had it been a boxing match, the referee would have stopped it at half time, because we absolutely battered them. They had one option and we coped well with it. Big Julian Alsop was a handful and we dealt with him fine all game apart from the goal. It was the only time he got away. Nicky Law missed the chance before hand, but we should have had two or three goals before then.
"It was a sloppy goal that we gave away. But when you miss chances like we did you risk not winning the game. It was the same against Morecambe the week beforehand, but Cheltenham was probably the best we have played all season. Definitely so in the first half. But I suppose a point away from home is a good thing. We're just gutted that it wasn't three." he added.
"We knew beforehand that they had a big strong physical team but I think we looked stronger throughout the game. Pablo Mills and Danny Harrison were rattling them in midfield and we were the better side—but it was just that one mistake that cost us in the end. We've got two hard games now in Barnet and Northampton and we'll be expecting a couple of wins."
