The Millers struggled for 60 minutes, but held their nerve to claim the 3 points after Barnet put the Millers under pressure.
"Woggy's made a cracking save and their number 20 Marshall has gone clean through and put it past the post so sometimes you earn your luck with the endeavor that we put into it you know."
"I thought we were sloppy for the first hour, but once we got the goal it settled us down a little bit and then in the end we could have gone on and got another few. But we know we were'nt brilliant today and we rode our luck a little bit but I'm just thankful for the three points."
Ronnie admitted that it was like a little payback for the good performance at Shrewsbury that left the Millers pointless; "I think it is, but when you get three up then concede with ten minutes to go you think 'here we go again' we'd seen it happen last week and theres no doubt about it you get a little panic on."
"Popey and Bradley came on and I think it gave us a bit more strength up there and the ball was'nt coming back as often as it had been for an hour. It was nice to see Popey get a goal and work hard, Bradley did a great pass for Law to pick Popey out, so both subs have come on and done really well for us."
Tom Pope scored his first goal of the season after being injured since April, only making his comeback in a five minute cameo against Burton last weekend.
"He tried his hardest to miss it, it was one of them that we thought was going to go through his legs. He said he was just taking care not to miss it!! It was nice when it went in as we'd rode our luck for an hour, but sometimes thats whats happens thats what footballs like and you grind out results. At the end of the season they might say how did we win 4-1 there but we got the three points. It's about sticking together, riding your luck and when you get the chances its about being more lethal than them in the box."
Despite the Millers being the leagues top scorers, Ronnie is always on the lookout for the a striker; "Yeah, I still want a striker, midfield player as well and a couple of wingers but we'll just take on at a time but it's nice to be scoring goals and nice for different people to be scoring the goals, it takes the pressure of Le Fondre."
"But we can't defend like the way we defended in the first half and 15 minutes of the first half and hope to get away with it every week so theres still plenty of work to do with the back four, but they're new, we've got a brand new back four at the start of the season so its going to take just a little bit longer, but it's taken a little bit longer than I thought it would do."
Moore then spoke about the Barnet goal, which he thought we could have done better with; "Talk about being professional, we sent Ex up to take the long throw, they take the short throw and they hit us on the break 3 against 2, with the centre half playing left wing. It's stupid, if it's 0-0 at the time then we'd have gone berserk over here, but to be fair, it was a sloppy goal to concede, with all thier attempts in the game they had in the game to get caught 3 against 2 shouldn't happen but its the win thatst he most important thing and we got that." Ronnie said.
On the subject of incoming players Ronnie said; "We've seen a lot of matches and we're taking a lot in and done a lot of travelling but trying to find them is not easy theres no doubt about that. But Bradleys done alright and he's put some pressure on the lads whos been in the middle all season it's a little bit of food for thought for me and Popeys come in and done everything we've asked of him so it's something for me to think about for the big derby game next weekend."
