At a press call this week to mark the start of the erection of the new ground, TS outlined his hopes for the future, the main one being the return of floating supporters.
He said to todays Tiser: "We want to reach the forgotten fans, the ones that have forgotten what Rotherham United is about, but it's also it's about families.
"We're going to have modern and comfortable amenities with first class acoustics. We want a matchday visit to be an 'occasion' for the people of Rotherham and families as well because we sometimes forget that young people are the fans of tomorrow. We will be banging the drum very hard to get all the townsfolk interested in what we're doing.
"The dream is to fill the stadium week in and week out and to do it we have got to produce football which is played well and is competitive and ambitious. We've got to show that Rotherham United is not just about a new stadium, it's about a new football club and a team that's got big ideas and is going places."
Stewart continued;."The site is 16 or 17 acres and apart from just the stadium, we have got areas to bring in commercial enterprise. This template is based on a business plan that can bring in revenue streams to Rotherham United so that it can be self-financing.
"The reason I went for more land around the stadium is we all know what salaries top footballers are getting paid and I do believe this is a good template to create the revenue to support Rotherham United in its ambitions going forward.
"The people of Rotherham will be proud to see not just a great stadium, but also something which can help regenerate this part of Rotherham."
