"There's also going to be great backing from our fans who'll be flocking across there and it will be nice, not just tonight but at the end of the two legs, to give them something special out of this season.
"Scunthorpe have just come out of The Championship, they have some good players and they have scored a lot of goals - they are an attack-minded side," he said.
"With Wembley at the end of it all, this represents a big game but the experience we have had this season against big name opponents and the experience of playing at Stoke can help us.
"I think it should be a good couple of games. I'm happy enough to go in as the underdog and why shouldn't we cause an upset?"
