"We were gutted, I felt sorry for the fans and although it's a bad thing to say, but I felt a bit sorry for myself as well because it was a horrible feeling to go out in that way. We've been doing so well in the league and everyone has been hyping us up but it really brought us back down to earth." Brogan said.
"As a lower league club, they were raring for it and you could tell straight away. I just don't think we were ready for it and that's not good enough. We're a professional team and to bring them back here after drawing 2-2 there, it should have been a banker. We should be winning those games and we should have gone through."
"Forest Green played well and wanted it more. We are one of the better teams in League Two at passing the ball but they out-passed and out-played us." he added.
However, the 19 year old went on to look to the future and the Millers push for promotion; "The FA Cup is massive and everyone wants to be involved and get to the third round to land a big game, but I don't know what it is with us in that competition."
"The result could be a good thing, for 24 hours afterwards everyone was really hurting but it could spur us on for Saturday and kick us on for another seven games unbeaten or whatever. We realise that if we don't work hard enough and don't put a shift in then we will get beaten." he said.
